Helen Slaters Blue Lined Eyes & #PrincessDianahair style are a great example of a proper NY Yuppie... Not all 80's makeup was super colorful and bright, just like now, it really depended on the person, some women embraced more makeup and some preferred a softer look, Helens look would be considered a much more natural look for the period...
As for Margaret’s character she plays a Uber Rich Blue Blood with a fabulous flair for style... her permed & shaped hair & accessories are truly fantastic. Her overall look was expensive... with her sultry rimmed eyes dusted with bronzes & purples paired with her perfectly brushed up brows, & it wouldn't be an 80's movie without blush sculpted cheekbones and a frosted fuchsia lipstick...
